Manly-Warringah have won their first Womens Premier Cricket Premiership after being crowned Second Grade Premiers after defeating Sydney at LM Graham Reserve in the Second Grade Final.
Batting first Manly-Warringah were able to post a competitive total of 8/174 off their 50 overs. Charlotte Camburn top scored with 43 while the Waratah's captain Mikaela Turik also made 40. Sydney's opening bowler Lily Campbell was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/32.
In reply, Sydney never really got going losing regular wickets to be eventually dismissed for 116. It was a great team performance from the Manly bowlers with the wickets shared. Annabel Hutt, Mia Waddington and Zara Shipp all taking two wickets.
Manly-Warringah Captain Mikaela Turik was named the Player of the Final with her 40 runs with the bat and figures of 1/19 off 9 overs instrumental in her teams victory.
